Welcome! This blog is about everything related to computer science and engineering. Whether you are interested in the job field, facts and myths, or just generally what we are all about, this is the place to look. Xavier, Steven, Tanner, and Li are four students who are the writers and editors of this blog.

Xavier Reinders is an 18 year old sophomore from Canton Michigan. He is currently majoring in Computer Engineering in his first year at Michigan State. He became interested in computer engineering by taking a programing class his sophomore year of high school and has been programming educationally, recreationally and professionally since. He has experience in PHP, Symfony, and SQL as well as considering himself proficient in Java and C++. Xavier plans to use his degree to start his own software or web development company.

Steven Wang is an 18 year old student, currently a freshman at Michigan State University from Novi Michigan and is studying Computer Science. He chose this major because he has always had an interest in computer science and engineering since middle school, starting from building computers and then eventually writing code in his junior year of high school. As of now, he is proficient in two languages, Java and Python, and is currently learning C. In the future, Steven plans on diving deeper, learning more languages to become a more advanced computer scientist. His dream job is to either become a software engineer or work in web development.   

Tanner Fred is an 18 year old freshman from Long Island, New York. He is currently enrolled at Michigan State University where he plans to graduate with a degree in Computer Science. Tanner plans to take his degree and start a game design company or work for a major game design company such as Treyarch or Ubisoft. This past summer he took a class at New York University about game design to learn more about the field and get a jumpstart on the career he would like to pursue.

Li Qingyang is an 18 year old freshman from China and is majoring in Computer Science. The reason he choose this major because he wants to be a game designer in the future. The game companies he is interested in are EA and Activision because the first game he played was Call of Duty. Currently he is not very familiar with any computer languages except Java, however he plans to start learning C++ next semester and will hope to set up his own studio after graduating.
